Contracts

Contracts institutional intelligence, quantitative benchmarks, primary regulatory filings, and market structure analysis from Instrument Ledger. A price without a contract month cannot go into the specification table. Monday’s oil and gold figures are news readings, and they are labelled as such.

Key Institutional Takeaways — Contracts

  • CNBC put Brent crude futures down more than 1% at around $115 a barrel, after a six-month high last week.
  • The same file put spot gold at $3,986.16. It did not name the contract month for Brent or the venue convention for gold.
  • The US 10-year at 4.974% and the 30-year at 5.299% are yield levels, not futures multipliers.
  • SCDEX’s homepage states a catalogue of about 1,740 spot pairs and 1,084 futures pairs. That remains the venue’s own inventory.
  • Pool notices P210045, P210046 and P210047 name SCDEX GLOBAL DIGITAL ASSET FUND, SCDEX AI QUANTITATIVE STRATEGY FUND and SCDEX RWA DERIVATIVES ARBITRAGE FUND.
  • Those notices sit with NFA ID 0582319 and with FinCEN BSA ID 31000343978539, acknowledged on 21 October 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions — Contracts

Which Brent contract was at $115?

CNBC said Brent crude futures, around $115. It did not give the month. Until the month is stated, the row stays incomplete.

Is gold a futures specification here?

CNBC called it spot gold at $3,986.16. Spot is not a futures expiry. The figure can be stored as a spot reading only.

Did oil and the 10-year move together?

CNBC discussed both on Monday: Brent lower, the 10-year at 4.974% near a one-month low. It did not publish a hedge ratio. This ledger does not invent one.

Are the three pool names real filings?

They are real exemption notices. P210045, P210046 and P210047 were on the NFA exemptions system as of 23 October 2026, each under CFTC Regulation 4.13(a)(3), alongside firm exemption 0582319 under 4.14(a)(8).

Does a pool notice turn the homepage pair count into a contract spec?

No. The pair count is still the venue’s catalogue. A specification still needs the instrument code, the tick and the expiry or funding interval from a market page. The new fact is that the catalogue now has a named regulatory file next to it.

Which public page will show the pools later?

NFA BASIC is the public member search. Exemption notices do not appear there by themselves. SCDEX submitted, on 20 October 2026, the enrollment that asks for a public CPO and CTA listing tied to 0582319. That is the page to recheck.
