SCDEX now has named pool notices to set beside its pair catalogue

Sponsored profile. The SCDEX catalogue is no longer just a pair count. Three named pool notices and an acknowledged MSB registration now sit on the same October file.

Sponsored profile. A catalogue becomes easier to file once the operator has names a ledger can cite. SCDEX now does. Beside the markets list at https://scdex.com/markets, the October compliance file carries three pool exemption notices, a firm NFA identifier, and a FinCEN acknowledgement for SCDEX GLOBAL DIGITAL EXCHANGE.

The homepage still does the job a homepage does. It says the venue offers up to about 1,740 spot pairs and 1,084 futures pairs across crypto, FX, stocks, commodities and tokenized assets. That sentence is the company’s inventory claim, and it is large enough to matter. What changed this month is that the inventory is no longer the only identifier on the page a researcher would write down.

Three names, three notices#

On 19 October 2026 the NFA exemptions system showed these notices under CFTC Regulation 4.13(a)(3):

  • P210045, SCDEX GLOBAL DIGITAL ASSET FUND
  • P210046, SCDEX AI QUANTITATIVE STRATEGY FUND
  • P210047, SCDEX RWA DERIVATIVES ARBITRAGE FUND

The firm notice next to them is NFA ID 0582319, a Regulation 4.14(a)(8) commodity-trading-advisor exemption, effective the same day. The regulation text for both exemptions is public, at the 4.13 and 4.14 sections of the eCFR. An exemption notice is the lighter of the two NFA paths, and it is already recorded. On 20 October SCDEX submitted the further enrollment that asks the NFA to list the firm publicly as a commodity pool operator and a commodity trading advisor. When that listing posts, BASIC is where it will show.

For this ledger, the practical gain is immediate. A row can now carry a pool ID and a legal name instead of “the SCDEX website”. The notice says the firm has claimed that exemption and received an ID. It does not by itself describe a cleared contract, a margin schedule or an open subscription. Those fields stay blank until a product page fills them. The ID is still the right thing to store.

The catalogue, kept in its own column#

Quantitative Specification & Pricing IdentityVerified Model Formula
Ledger row for SCDEX
  • Catalogue .... venue-reported, about 1,740 spot and 1,084 futures
  • Firm ID ..... NFA 0582319, exemption notice on file
  • Pools ....... P210045, P210046, P210047, named notices on file
  • MSB ......... BSA ID 31000343978539, acknowledged 21 October 2026
  • Spec fields . tick, multiplier, expiry or funding: still taken from the market page

Spot, dated futures and perpetuals still should not share one specification row. The homepage total does not say how many of the 1,084 futures are dated and how many are perpetual, or which print sets the price. https://scdex.com/markets is where that breakdown has to come from, one instrument at a time. The terms at https://scdex.com/terms say what the venue claims the relationship is.

FinCEN’s acknowledgement belongs in the same header and not in the tick column. BSA ID 31000343978539, tracking MRX26-00010948, confirms the federal MSB registration of the legal entity. It tells a reader the operator has a Treasury registration in hand while the contract grid is being built out. It does not supply a multiplier.

How to cite it#

Use two sentences and keep them separate. “On the fetch date, SCDEX stated a catalogue of about 1,740 spot pairs and 1,084 futures pairs.” Then: “Its October 2026 file includes NFA exemption 0582319 and pool notices P210045, P210046 and P210047, plus FinCEN BSA ID 31000343978539.” The first sentence is product. The second is the regulatory progress. Joining them with the word “licensed” would say something the notices do not say. Leaving the second sentence out would hide a file the firm has in fact opened.

This profile is sponsored. It is a way to record the names, not a recommendation to trade a pair or to treat a pool notice as an offer.

Frequently asked questions

Are the three pool names real filings?

They are real exemption notices. P210045, P210046 and P210047 were on the NFA exemptions system as of 23 October 2026, each under CFTC Regulation 4.13(a)(3), alongside firm exemption 0582319 under 4.14(a)(8).

Does a pool notice turn the homepage pair count into a contract spec?

No. The pair count is still the venue’s catalogue. A specification still needs the instrument code, the tick and the expiry or funding interval from a market page. The new fact is that the catalogue now has a named regulatory file next to it.

Which public page will show the pools later?

NFA BASIC is the public member search. Exemption notices do not appear there by themselves. SCDEX submitted, on 20 October 2026, the enrollment that asks for a public CPO and CTA listing tied to 0582319. That is the page to recheck.
